You can find great quality bird cages and stands for your pet bird at PetSmart. They have many sizes and shapes of them to choose from, to small ones up to big ones with wheels.

When you’re in need of a bird cage, there are several things you need to keep in mind. First and foremost is the size of the bird. A large bird needs a big cage.

In fact, it’s always best to purchase the largest bird cage you can. Birds need room to move around and to exercise their wings. And don’t forget that feeders, waterers, and other items are going to subtract from the amount of interior space.

The bird’s size needs to be considered with the bar spacing, too. You don’t want Tweetie to get stuck between the bars! Many experts recommend horizontal bars because they enable the bird to use them for climbing, which provides entertainment and exercise for your feathered friend.

PetSmart has a great selection of bird cages. They range from small colorful cages in purple, yellow, green, turquoise, and red, to cages with unusual shapes. They have cages shaped like houses, domes, arches, squares, rectangles, and a really cool casbah cage.

Petsmart has some nice big bird cages, too, that your birdies would love to live in. you’ll have a wide range of choices among cages with stands, freestanding cages, and cages that hang from hooks. No matter what kind of pet bird you have, PetSmart has the perfect cage.

Once you have your bird cage set up and inhabited, it will need to be cleaned regularly. Dirty bird cages are unhealthy for your pet. Use paper liners to catch droppings and spilled food.

The liner needs to be changed on a daily basis, and the food and water dishes need to be cleaned every day, too. About once a week, clean the bottom tray, the perches, and toys, and wipe down the grids.

Candidiasis in birds, symptoms and treatment
