4th Annual Pookie’s Winter RescueFest @ Lake Lily in Maitland
This year the very popular Pookie’s RescueFest will be held at Lake Lilly in Maitland due to the increasing size of the event. See many animals up for adoption, enter raffles, see pet vendors of all kinds and help the many pet rescue organizations in our area. 10 AM to 4 PM.

18th annual Paws in the Park pet walk
Come on downtown to Lake Eola in Orlando and help the SPAC of central Florida with paws in the park pet walk. It’s a pet fundraiser for the SPCA with lots of prizes. See lots of pet vendors, live entertainment, raffles and more. 9:00 AM to noon.

14th annual dog masquerade parade
If you like to party with your dog, make sure you check out this fun event! Mardi Gras on Mainstreet is presented by the Krewe of Amalee in downtown Deland. There will be lots of fun activities going on and money raised goes to a good cause.

9th annual doggie art festival in Winter Park
Once again it’s time for the 9th annual doggie art festival in Winter Park! Come on out with your dog on a leash and see all the great doggy art, rescue dogs looking for loving homes, pet vendors and lots more. Food and drinks will be there. 10 AM to 4 PM.

April 28th
5th Annual Doggie Derby at Baldwin Park
If you’ve never been to the doggie derby make sure you come out this year! This fun event pits two dogs that race each other down a short 25 yard track. Many compete in different divisions. There also will be pet vendors, food and drinks, kid zone and much more. All for a great cause. 9 AM to 2 PM.
