Happy New Year, keep your pets safe from fireworks!

Tonight is New Years Eve, so I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! :D I hope your holidays are going well and hope that you have a safe new years eve, whatever you may be doing.

Myself, I’m not much of a party person and even less of a crowd type! So I’m going to spend new years eve at home, listening to the fireworks everyone around me shoots off.

I live right on a lake so I am sure there will be fireworks going off over that. My cat however hates the noise fireworks makes, so she will be slinking off under the bed I’m sure.

Happy holidays from Orlando Pet Services!

Chances are you’ll read this post just before or on Christmas day, so I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays. Yeah i know that may not be politically correct but it’s my site so I don’t care! :D

At least I can wish everyone a happy holiday, which means just about anything. I hope you all have a great time doing whatever you do from now until the New Years.

It’s been a pretty good year for me, all things considered. I started up a few new websites, I have around 3 dozen now. I can still work from home, making my living off my sites.

It’s once again time for Thanksgiving! The years seem to go faster and faster don’t they? Thanksgiving is a great time to slow down, see family you have not seen in a while and think about everything your grateful for.

For myself I’m happy to be working for myself with this site and all my others, I have a few dozen. Nothing beats strolling out to the living room in your shorts, coffee in hand and knowing your at work! :)

I’m also grateful for the very good, close friends I have. I’m the type that does not have many friends, but the ones I do have I’m very close to and care for them very much.

How do you like the new Orlando Pet Services website look?

If your a regular reader here, you must notice how different the site looks now! I spent all day yesterday changing my site to the new look you see here. I myself think it looks pretty cool. :)

I really like the cute header banner at the top, a good designer friend did that for me, at a cost of course. I also added new pet services pages so you can find the best places in Orlando for your pet and pet supplies.

I will be adding more of those pages soon, I’m missing a lot of different pet service categories. I also have an advertising page you can check out if you want to advertise on here.

But what I really want to know is, what do you think of the new look? Like it, hate it, don’t care, what? Please take the poll above and let me know what you think, thanks! :D

Orlando Pet Services new look

Well everyone, the day is here, or almost here depending on what day your reading this. I have been working hard making a totally brand new look for this site.

It will be a full service site, not just a blog format type, as it is now. There will be many new sections, like dog walking, pet groomers and so on that you can find in the Orlando Florida area.

It will have two top menus for all the different pet categories and pages for ease of use. Quite frankly, I intend to make this one of the biggest all around pet websites for Orlando around. :)

Bill, the guy behind Orlando Pet Services

I’ve been getting out to the local pet events these days and meeting more and more of the people around here. I’m starting to get to know some of the great folks who run all the pet services and shops in the Orlando area.

Also more people seem to be starting to know about my site here, Orlando Pet Services. So, I thought maybe I should give you all a little more information about just who the heck I am, the guy behind the site!

My name is Bill Manning, and I’m originally from Vermont. I moved down here to Orlando about 20 or so years ago all by myself. I hate the cold and love the nice weather down here.

New look, sections coming to Orlando Pet Services soon!

New look for Orlando Pet Services soon!

I’m happy to say that my little pet site here has grown quite fast. I’m getting request to write about local pet places and even been asked about ad space on here.

As you can see the layout of my site is a blog format, since I use WordPress. Well I want you to know that soon I will be changing this site to a very different look!

It will have a more normal home page website look, with new section pages. In those pages will be listed the local pet services, like pet sitting, doggy day care, dog training, pet shops and so on.

Happy New Year from Orlando Pet Services!

Happy New Year 2011!

Well everyone it’s almost 2011! I’m sure many will be glad to see 2010 go away and look forward to a better year. I myself did okay, can’t complain much. But many others had a horrible year.

Very soon I will change my pet events page so it shows only 2011 upcoming pet events. There will be a link to the older 2010 events if you want to see them.

Which reminds me, let me know if you have any upcoming pet events so I can include it in the page. There is no charge, I do it so my readers can get the latest events all in one place.

I’m looking forward to 2011 as I have new ideas and new things I want to try. I’m going to open up another website, I already have two dozen! So one more is it, no more.

All the theme parks here in Orlando will be having New Years Eve fireworks, and there will be lots of smaller local parties and celebrations too. Many people set off fireworks for new years eve.

So it’s a good idea to keep your pets inside for new years eve so they don’t get scared, run away or hurt from all the firework noises and lights. From Orlando Pet Services, Happy New Year! :)

Merry Christmas from Orlando Pet Services

HI everyone, I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy New Year! For many this year has not been all that great, what with the economy in the tank and jobs short.

I have to say I’m lucky in that I have been doing good with my own websites this year. Each month I earn a bit more and learn new things to improve them. It’s a slow but steady process.

Anyways I hope everyone has a great holiday with family, friends and of course their special pets! I plan to add many new articles in here that are helpful and showcase local pet events, services and organizations.

So from Orlando Pet Services happy holidays and hope everyone’s new year is better and successful. Give your pet an extra treat for the holidays and think of adopting a homeless pet for the new year. :)
