Posh Pooch pet event at Celebration

I’m afraid I’m running behind with all the local pet events, sorry about that. There is always so many other events going on in the spring I have to attend to for my other tourist site.

But I wanted to be sure to mention the cool pet event going on at Disney’s downtown Celebration town, called Posh Pooch! It will be held this year on March 17th, this coming weekend, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Disney’s town of Celebration is always a fun place to visit, and Posh Pooch pet event will make it even more fun for pet lovers. There will be new and more pet vendors, pet events, contest, shows and lots more going on.

Wiggle Waggle walk 2011 pet walk pictures gallery

Wiggle Waggle walk 2011at Cranes Roost park picture gallery!

Well yesterday was the 2011 Wiggle Waggle walk at Cranes Roost park in uptown Altamonte. I got there around 11 I think, just in time to catch the pet Halloween costume contest.

There were some fantastic pet costumes and lots of dogs in the contest. I always have a dilemma when I go to an event. See, I take both pictures and videos. So, I’m always stuck with choosing which one I should use.

I was a bit farther away than I wanted to be, up on the top stairs right there where they had the contest. So I choose to use my video camera most of the time as it has a great 70X zoom on it.

11th annual wiggle waggle walk at Cranes Roost park 2011!

Once again it’s time to spotlight a local pet event. This time it’s the very popular 11th annual Wiggle Waggle walk 2011 at Cranes Roost park in Uptown Altamonte! Ok so it’s a bit early but I want you all to have time to sign up!

Wiggle Waggle Walk is an annual fundraising event that’s held in Seminole County, Florida at Uptown Altamonte. The event provides all sorts of fun, including costume contests, games, and family entertainment.

It’s also educational, with lots of information about pets made available. There are also some fund-raising competitions, and proceeds go to support the SPCA of Central Florida.

17th annual paws in the park fundraising pet walk in Orlando

It’s a little early but I thought I’d give everyone a heads up on this years 17th annual paws in the park fund raising pet walk in downtown Orlando! This year it will be held on February 12th, 2011 from 9:00 AM to noon.

Paws in the park fund raising pet walk benefits SPCA of central Florida, which does so much to help unwanted pets and find good homes for them, as well as many other pet services.

The event is held at Lake Eola park in downtown Orlando. Paws in the park fund raising pet walk is always a lot of fun, with many pet vendors to see and get lots of information from.

Wiggle Waggle Walk 2010 fund raising pet walk at Cranes Roost Park near Orlando

This year will mark the 10th annual Wiggle Waggle walk 2010! For those who don’t know about it, it’s a fun fund raising pet walk that benefits the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of central Florida.

This years Wiggle Waggle walk 2010 will be held at a new location, Cranes Roost Park at Uptown Altamonte just north of Orlando. It’s a lot of fun for the whole family while giving to the humane society.

Some of the activities include games, fund-raising competitions, costume contests, pet information, family entertainment and more. Pet-friendly businesses will also be there with their own booths and tables.
